Hey, everyone, getting ready to head for Hickory NC early tomorrow morning for the Catawba Valley Quilters Guild Quilt Show. If you're in that neck of the woods, come by and see us at the Hickory Metro Convention Center on Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm and on Sunday from 11am to 5pm. There will be over 100 quilts on display, vendors, free demonstrations, door prizes, The Lily Boutique - all for a $3 admission fee with free parking. There will be a drawing Sunday for the winner of 'Celebration Splendor', a hand-quilted sampler quilt.
We'll be there with our new wall quilt, 'Vintage Wreath', made with fabric from the new line by Barbara Brackman, 'The Morris Workshop'. See Barbara's blog for information about the fabric designers and origin of the color names - interesting stuff! http://www.barbarabrackmanblogspot.com/.
