2013 HOLIDAY
SEASON IS UPON US!
Auntie Ju's
has had some downtime to regroup before the 2014 Show Season begins in January.
And what a great place to start - West Palm Beach. Well, somebody
has to do it! We'll be at the Palm Beach Convention Center from January 9
- 11 for the World Quilt Show - Florida V. The show will be open daily from
10am to 6pm. Later in the month we'll be in full swing in Myrtle Beach SC
for the Myrtle Beach Quilt Party and then on to Statesville NC for the The
Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza. We hope you'll be able to stop by
one of these shows and say 'hey'! We'll have some new products for you to
check out.
I'm working on
a new Block of the Month called, 'Mastering Miniatures',
using 28 richly colored fabrics from JUDIE'S AUTHENTIC MINIATURES by Judie
Rothermel for Marcus Fabrics. You'll transform easy-to-sew 6" blocks
into a quilt (approx. 70" x 70" incl. borders) and at the end you'll
not only have a beautiful quilt, you'll have a 50-block pattern book!
The
instructions are clear, accurate and easy to follow.....geared for an average
beginner. The 6" blocks are all rotary cut with easy assembly, no
tiny pieces and no paper piecing. Full-color patterns with each block
featured on one page. Pattern includes a thumbnail of each of the fabrics
for easy identification, plus tips and easy to read complete instructions.
You'll be working with these fabrics to make the center of the quilt.

the black and
red block and the bear claw block
are my favorites!
So warm up your rotary cutter, stock up on chocolate and prepare to enjoy yourself as you make this wonderful family heirloom! We'll start shipping in January, so get yourself signed up now!
Auntie Ju's has a new look! The main page of our website has very subtle changes but you will see a nice change in the Products display and in the 'Shopping Cart' and 'check out procedure'.
Here are some of the new features:
- Hovering over the picture of the product with your mouse enlarges it - in some cases you will be able to zoom in and see the details.
- You can create a 'wish list'.
- You can purchase 'gift certificates' in any denomination.
- You can shop by price.
- You can write a review of the product.
- Pictures of the products can be e-mailed, printed, sent to Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook so you can share with your friends.
- If you start an order and get interrupted, are undecided or are not quite ready to submit the order, it will stay in the system for a day or so you can do more shopping and come back to finalize the order later.
