I've been on safari, so I relate to this one too

this is a tribute to a deceased husband
whose favorite holiday was Christmas

this lion head is magnificent

we graduated a granddaughter from high school (with honors),

 we welcomed another great granddaughter
into the family June 8, 7#, Chassidy Marie,
here with her big brother CJ,

finished a UFO 10 yrs. in the making for
the mother of the new great granddaughter,
all blocks are hand appliqué

made a new quilt for the graduation girl,

made pillow cases for all the great grandchildren,

introduced a few new products to our store

Gentle Life wool appliqué

'It's Plum Repro', a kit for a small quilt, table mat
and pincushion using Civil War Repro fabrics

small wool appliqué hanging

and at present are working on finishing up some
new items for our next shows
in Wilmington NC and Knoxville TN.

Oh, and our resident mother rabbit and offspring
are causing me real 'grief in the garden'.

 this is before

There is nothing left but stems from the first luscious picture above and I've discovered they also like sweet potato vines and ice plants.

Be sure to check our website often over the next couple months, there's a 'Christmas in July' sale in store along with some other events that we have planned.

Time to call it a day, 'til next time.......
